Emily has been drawing since she could grip a crayon in her fat little toddler hand. Since then her creative exploits have been vast and varied.
Emily studied drawing at university before becoming an art teacher, and has since produced two heirs to her creative empire. This journey into motherhood has propelled her into a whole new artistic realm. Her drive to produce high quality art experiences for children began when she illustrated her own line of make and do products under the name of Bunty & Sars. She has since diversified into running children's art events and workshops and continues to explore and develop her illustrative work.
She firmly believes that craft is not a dirty word and is a huge advocate of its ability to promote mindfulness and psychological wellbeing. She is involved in a number of contemporary craft collectives, including Craft Victoria, and is committed to generosity, community and the sharing of skills.
All this amongst other artsy things.
Because life is art, and art is life, isn't it?
